Finance Fund

Investing in the energy transition with stability, long-term contracts, and infrastructure-backed assets.

Investment Strategy

The Finance Fund is a venture capital fund focused on financing infrastructure in the renewable energy sector, with an emphasis on assets offering operational stability, technological maturity, and long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) that ensure predictability and security of cash flows.

The strategy aims to accelerate Portugal’s energy transition by mobilising private capital into projects that are either operational or at an advanced stage of development, aligned with the objectives of decarbonisation, energy independence, and territorial cohesion. Portfolio construction prioritises technological diversification, contractual robustness, and a favourable regulatory framework.

The Fund primarily invests through debt or hybrid instruments, with contractualised remuneration and collateral linked to the underlying asset, promoting a disciplined and risk-mitigated approach.
